We are looking for a Credit Control Manager who is a master of balance: someone who can protect our cash flow while maintaining the incredible relationships we’ve built with our farmers and ranchers . This isn’t a "sit behind a spreadsheet" role. We need a proactive communicator who isn't afraid to pick up the phone, have a real conversation, and find solutions that keep Halter charging forward. You’ll be the heartbeat of our cash inflows, ensuring our ledger is pristine and our collection processes are world‑class. What you'll be doing The Relationship Builder (Debt Collection) – You’ll proactively manage overdue payments via phone and email. You aren't just "chasing debt"—you’re checking in with our farmers and ranchers , resolving hurdles, and ensuring the partnership stays strong. You’ll have a direct impact on keeping our cash flow healthy and predictable. Risk Architect (Credit Management) – You’ll be the gatekeeper of our growth. You’ll evaluate new credit requests, set smart limits, and monitor credit ratings to ensure we are scaling safely across different global markets. Ledger Perfectionist – You’ll keep the engine room tidy—processing invoices, allocating receipts with precision, and reconciling accounts so our data is always source‑of‑truth ready. Dispute Detective – When an invoice doesn't get paid, you’re on the case. You’ll investigate discrepancies, resolve queries, and bridge the gap between our customers and our internal teams to get things back on track. Strategic Forecaster – You’ll provide the "weather report" for our cash. By preparing aged debtor reports and forecasting expected inflows, you’ll give senior management the visibility they need to make big moves. The Negotiator – Sometimes things don’t go to plan. You’ll use your empathy and commercial savvy to establish payment plans that support our farmers and ranchers through their seasonal cycles while protecting Halter’s interests.
