Senior Project Architect Babbage Consultants is a 100% New Zealand‑owned multidisciplinary consultancy delivering practical, coordinated, and sustainable solutions across Architecture, Engineering, Infrastructure, Land Development and Project Management. The Role We’re looking for a Senior Project Architect to join our Auckland Architecture team – someone who can confidently lead projects from concept through to construction, build trusted client relationships, and bring clarity, technical strength, and leadership to complex project environments. What You’ll Be Doing Lead and coordinate projects through all phases, delivering practical, buildable, and well‑resolved architectural outcomes Oversee technical delivery, documentation, consultant coordination, and project quality Manage client, contractor, consultant, and authority relationships with confidence and professionalism Apply strong technical judgement to resolve design, coordination, and construction challenges early and effectively Mentor team members and contribute to continuous improvement across project delivery and practice standards What You’ll Bring NZRAB registration and significant experience delivering architectural projects in New Zealand Proven ability to independently lead projects from concept through to completion Strong technical capability, Revit proficiency, and understanding of NZ compliance processes Excellent communication skills, commercial awareness, and a collaborative leadership style A calm, solutions‑focused mindset with the ability to manage complexity and competing priorities Why Babbage?
