We are seeking a nurturing, enthusiastickaiakoto join our dedicated team. This is a full-time, permanent teaching role where you will work within a close-knit, supportive, values-led team. Teaching is delivered in small class settings (1:10 ratio), enabling strong relationships andpersonalisedlearning. This approach supportsākongato re-engage in learningandstrengthen wellbeing. Permanent staffalsoreceive one health school unit and a special duties allowance,recognisingthe specialist nature of thiswork. In this role, you will design and deliver learningprogrammesthat respond to the strengths, needs, and aspirations of eachākonga. You will work collaboratively with colleagues and external agencies, contributing to a culture of shared learning, reflection, and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate: Has experience in trauma-informed and culturally responsive practice Creates safe, inclusive, mana-enhancing learning environments Is a confident classroom teacher, with strongbehaviouralmanagement skills. Usesdigital technologies effectively for planning, communication, and administration Has strong literacy and numeracy capability and experience supporting complex learners Highly desirablebut not essentialisproficiencyintereoMāori and a strong understanding oft eaoMāori.
