What You’ll Do You’ll lead the evolution of Stuff Digital’s marketing automation capability, designing and optimising personalised customer journeys that drive registrations, engagement, loyalty and subscriber revenue across our platforms. You’ll work across teams including Product, Editorial, Commercial and Audience Development to build seamless customer experiences that are smart, scalable and commercially impactful. This role combines strategy, execution and innovation. One day you could be optimising lifecycle journeys in Braze. The next, experimenting with AI-powered orchestration tools, building adaptive workflows, or helping define the governance framework for how autonomous marketing systems operate at Stuff. You’ll Be Responsible For Designing and delivering best-in-class lifecycle marketing and automation strategies Building personalised, multi-channel customer journeys that increase conversion, retention and engagement Owning and evolving our marketing automation platforms, including Braze and Piano Creating intelligent orchestration layers that connect platforms, data signals and AI tools into seamless automated workflows Driving conversion rate optimisation across digital touchpoints Partnering closely with Product, Editorial and Commercial teams to align customer experience with business outcomes Developing robust testing, experimentation and performance measurement frameworks Helping shape how AI is responsibly governed and applied within marketing operations Identifying smarter, more adaptive ways to engage audiences at scale Bringing a builder’s mindset to emerging AI tools, automation systems and workflow innovation What We’re Looking For You’re commercially minded, deeply curious and technically confident. You understand customer behaviour, love solving complex problems and know how to translate data into action. You’ve likely worked in lifecycle marketing, CRM, marketing automation or audience growth roles, but more importantly, you’re already thinking beyond traditional automation. You Might Already Be Building workflows in tools like n8n, Make, Zapier or similar Experimenting with AI agents or orchestration frameworks Connecting platforms and APIs into intelligent customer experiences Thinking critically about where AI adds value , and where simpler automation is the better answer You’ll bring: Strong experience in marketing automation, lifecycle marketing or audience engagement Deep understanding of segmentation, behavioural triggers and customer journey design Hands-on experience with platforms like Braze, Piano or equivalent marketing technologies Strong analytical capability and confidence working with customer data and performance insights Experience designing and optimising multi-channel campaigns Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills Strong experimentation and A/B testing capability A practical understanding of AI-driven workflows, automation governance and orchestration systems Curiosity, initiative and a drive to continuously improve how things work Why Stuff?
