Overview G Adventures, the world’s largest small‑group adventure travel company, is looking for a New Zealand CEO – Chief Experience Officer (Driver/Guide) to lead and guide itineraries across New Zealand. The role combines driving, guiding, and managing the overall experience for small‑group travelers while ensuring safety, sustainability, and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Guide, drive, and manage New Zealand itineraries, ensuring safe group travel. Check vehicle maintenance (tires, fluids) and uphold driving standards with a valid Class2 licence and P endorsement. Plan and execute itineraries, manage budgets, and handle any injuries or medical incidents. Maintain a customer‑service‑oriented environment, keeping passengers safe and satisfied. Lead crisis and conflict management, public speaking, and general leadership duties. Qualifications & Attributes Valid Class2 driver’s licence with a P endorsement. Comprehensive First Aid Certificate. Experience driving long distances and ensuring group safety. Strong leadership ability and comfort managing group dynamics and diverse cultures. Excellent communication skills, calm under pressure, and customer‑service oriented. Commitment to sustainable and responsible tourism. Infectious love of NewZealand and willingness to share in G’s culture. Eligibility to work in NewZealand.
