Receiving Assistant, Part Time - Timaru

Want a behind the scenes role where you can really get things moving? Varied, High Impact Role - Large, Dynamic Retailer Farmers is New Zealand's largest department store. We sell a variety of items in large quantities. To keep our stores well stocked, we need expert Store Receiving Assistants to oversee the receiving and dispatching functions. In this role, you'll be responsible for ensuring all merchandise reaches our trading floor as smoothly and quickly as possible, and that orders are dispatched to customers on time. Although this is a "behind the scenes" role, it is pivotal: you'll liaise with the management team, distribution centre, and team members on a daily basis. Qualifications Be physically fit and comfortable lifting and moving large amounts of stock on a daily basis Excellent organizational skills Good administration skills Attention to detail Proven computer skills You will be able to work independently, stay calm under pressure, and take initiative to really get things moving! Schedule The position is part time and will involve working Tuesday 7:30am - 1:00pm, Thursday 7:30am - 1:00pm and Friday 7:30am - 1:00pm If this sounds like the role for you, please apply now!
