Senior Quantity Surveyor

We’re on the lookout for a qualified and experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to work within our expanding Christchurch QS team. Leading and supporting across multiple sectors, this role will perform various quantity surveying functions including estimating, planning and cost management, cost monitoring, and accurate and timely financial reporting whilst exercising sound financial acumen with a key focus on proactively maximising value for our clients. Key Responsibilities Liaising with clients, architects, and main contractors Identifying and facilitating new business opportunities Master plan and feasibility budgets Estimating Cost checking of developing design Value engineering Tender evaluations and analysis Contract negotiations Cash flow projects Procurement Cost reporting Evaluation of variations Payment Recommendations Final account reporting Claims preparation, presentation, negotiation and settlement of claims Investment analysis Formulating and implementing benchmarking processes to improve the consistency, accuracy and time to prepare cost models and plans Qualifications 7+ years project experience Relevant tertiary qualification in Quantity Surveying Extensive experience in cost estimating and planning software/ Cost X Demonstrated track record of managing major projects Additional Information Annual bonus scheme Southern Cross medical insurance Paid professional memberships- support in gaining and supporting your membership costs for RICS or NZIQS WT’s balanced way of working Apply now to join an international cost consultancy at the forefront of New Zealand's major construction across all sectors within our Christchurch office. #J-18808-Ljbffr
