Industrial Electrician

We're recruiting on behalf of a well-established New Zealand industrial services business that continues to grow across the North Island. Due to an expanding workload, they're looking for a qualified Industrial Electrician to join their team based in Taupō . This is a hands‑on role offering a great mix of industrial maintenance, construction and project work. While you'll be based in Taupō, you'll also have the opportunity to work on sites throughout the North Island. What You’ll Be Doing Industrial electrical installation, maintenance and commissioning Fault finding, repairs and preventative maintenance Reading and interpreting electrical schematics and technical drawings Completing work to a high standard while maintaining accurate documentation Working safely and contributing to a strong health and safety culture Supporting apprentices and collaborating with a skilled team What You’ll Bring Current New Zealand EWRB Practising Licence Recognised electrical trade qualification Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills Ability to read electrical drawings and technical documentation Excellent communication skills and attention to detail Full New Zealand working rights A proactive attitude and the ability to work independently Bonus Points If You Have EWRB Hazardous Area Endorsement Experience in industrial construction or heavy maintenance If you're looking for a role where no two days are the same and you want to be part of a business that values quality workmanship and its people, we'd love to hear from you.
