# Complaints Resolution Coordinator at NZ Defence Force, Wellington - Wairarapa## Mō tēnei tūranga mahi | About this role**Mō te tūnga | About the role**The Complaints Resolution Unit is a newly established unit that centralises the management of and response to all service complaints, complaints about bullying, harassment and discrimination, and harmful sexual behaviour, and protected disclosures within the NZDF.As the Complaint Resolution Coordinator, your role is to expertly manage and maintain the complaint management and filing systems, and oversee the complaint tracking process.You will also be required to provide general administrative functions including answering emails and calls, and organising and supporting the team with general office support.This role is based in Wellington CBD.**Ngā pūkenga me ngā wheako | Skills and Experience**To be successful in this role, you will be confident with technology with the ability to quickly learn and expertly navigate our complaints management system, ensuring the Unit effectively and efficiently receives, tracks, and manages complaints. You will be comfortable working in a fast‐paced environment, handling sensitive matters with discretion and professionalism.Key experiences and skills include:* Proven experience working in a complaints management and/or information management environment, with good technical knowledge of complaints processes and functions.* Experience providing governance support and working with senior leaders, ideally within the public sector.* Demonstrated experience in office administration, with strong organisational and coordination skills.* Proven ability to engage with staff at all levels professionally, and to handle sensitive, confidential, and potentially offensive material appropriately.* Experience managing and de‐escalating distressing or high‐tension situations with empathy and professionalism.An appropriate qualification or equivalent relevant experience in a related field (such as military, investigation, regulatory/compliance, or law) is essential.The salary for this role ranges from $72,528 to $80,469, inclusive of a 4% superannuation contribution.
