Mitre 10 MEGA Takanini Permanent Full-Time role | Tuesday to Saturday Mitre 10 MEGA Takanini is looking for a motivated and customer-focused Bathroom & Plumbing Design Consultant / Sales Specialist to join our team. About the Role This is an exciting opportunity to combine your product knowledge, design flair, and sales expertise in a customer-facing role. Working within our Bathroom and Plumbing department, you will guide customers through product selection and project planning, helping them create functional and stylish bathroom solutions. You will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service while building strong relationships with homeowners, renovators, builders, plumbers, and trade customers. Key Responsibilities Assist customers with bathroom and plumbing product selections. Provide advice on bathroom layouts, fittings, tapware, vanities, showers, toilets, and related products. Create bathroom designs using our design software, working closely with customers to develop solutions that meet their needs, budget, and project requirements. Prepare quotes, process sales, and follow up leads to secure business. Maintain excellent product knowledge across bathroom and plumbing categories. Build and maintain relationships with trade and retail customers. Ensure showroom displays and merchandising standards are maintained. Work collaboratively with suppliers, team members, and other departments to deliver outstanding customer outcomes. What We're Looking For Previous experience in bathroom design, plumbing, bathroom sales, or a similar customer-focused role. Strong sales and relationship-building skills. A passion for helping customers achieve their project goals. Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities. Confidence using computer systems for quoting and sales processing. Experience using bathroom or interior design software would be advantageous. Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects. Self-motivated with a positive, team-focused attitude. Knowledge of bathroom and plumbing products would be highly advantageous. What We Offer Competitive remuneration package.
