The Opportunity: Duty Manager This is a full time (45 hours over 5 days per week) permanent role, offering a competitive salary. Any additional hours worked on additional days of the week can be accrued as ‘owed time’ as per our policy. What You Will Do Ensure guests are warmly welcomed and provided with a personalized orientation of lodge facilities and services Maintain exceptional guest engagement and anticipate guest needs throughout their stay Support Food & Beverage operations and assist with service where required Coordinate guest movements and communicate effectively with internal departments Assist Lodge Management with daily operations and service leadership Support staff training, team communication, and service briefings Maintain high service standards across front of house operations Assist with administrative responsibilities including reporting and rostering support Represent hotel management and make operational decisions when senior leadership are not present What You Will Bring 3+ years’ experience in hospitality, ideally within luxury hotels, resorts, or lodges Proven leadership experience in front-of-house or food & beverage operations Exceptional communication skills and confident guest engagement Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities Professional presentation and attention to detail Ability to work flexibly including evenings, weekends and public holidays A collaborative approach and the ability to support and motivate teams What We Offer in Return Full-time permanent position with a guaranteed minimum of 30 hours per week Competitive salary aligned with experience Delicious daily associate meals prepared by our culinary team Access to the Rosewood Associate Perks Programme with exclusive partner discounts Opportunities for career development within the Rosewood Hotels & Resorts global network A supportive leadership culture focused on growth and development The opportunity to live and work in one of New Zealand’s most spectacular coastal regions We strive to offer consecutive days off wherever possible to support work-life balance Due to our location, candidates must have their own reliable transport #J-18808-Ljbffr
