A Day in the Life Join our Surgical Robotics team as a Senior Robotic Clinical Support Specialist and support the clinical engagement and utilisation of the Hugo Robotic Assisted Surgery System in New Zealand. In this role, you will report to the Clinical Sales Manager and support the system installation by helping to train surgical teams and maintaining the overall robotic program. Additionally, you will support the local team in raising awareness and expanding our surgeon base by promoting the Hugo RAS System. The role is based out of Auckland or New Plymouth area . Responsibilities Supporting installation activities alongside internal stakeholders and Medtronic Field Service Engineers Working closely with hospital staff to prepare the operating room for Hugo RAS cases Providing on‑going clinical and technical support for Hugo RAS cases Aligning with hospital and CSM to develop, coordinate and execute surgeon engagement and utilisation strategy for key opportunities Tracking milestones to regularly showcase the value delivered by the Hugo RAS Program Facilitating Hugo RAS adoption through attending non‑Hugo cases with target surgeons Maintaining on‑going Hugo RAS coaching and assist local Customer Training team to deliver Hugo RAS Training Pathway Coordinating joint in‑field activities with the relevant local stakeholders to raise awareness for robotic surgery in the hospital Training hospital staff to clean and sterilise reusable robotic instruments Assisting capital sales team with identifying and developing prospect accounts prior to future installations Developing inventory plan with CSM for robotic procedures Arranging proctored cases as required with internal stakeholders Data management and reporting Required Knowledge and Experience Bachelor’s degree Demonstrable experience in clinical setting or capital equipment sales Operating Room knowledge or experience Demonstrated ability to operate from idea generation, strategy development through detailed implementation and results delivery Experience in change management process Willingness to travel depending on project needs; occasional weekend work as needed Physical Job Requirements The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees assigned to this position, but they are not an exhaustive list of all the required responsibilities and skills of this position.
