Job Description
Job Purpose We are looking for an Asset Finance Specialist based on New Zealand’s North Island to deliver expert retail finance guidance and training to dealer sales teams. This autonomous role requires a proactive, self‑driven professional who enjoys managing their territory independently. You will build strong relationships with dealers, conduct data‑driven performance reviews, provide tailored coaching, and drive market‑share growth while collaborating closely with our capital team to ensure a smooth end‑to‑end experience for both dealers and end‑users. This role offers a supportive and collaborative environment with ongoing development and opportunities within a global business. We welcome applications from candidates based anywhere on the North Island. Key Responsibilities Hit and exceed retail finance strike rate, originations and margin retention targets. Partner with dealers to deliver fast, accurate quotes and seamless credit‑application support. Co‑create finance packages alongside sales teams to accelerate equipment sales. Deliver timely, expert sales support to both dealers and end‑customers. Build strong relationships with dealership sales teams through regular visits. Represent the brand at key field days and industry events across the North Island to generate new leads and awareness. Analyse dealer performance via financial data and stock reviews, identifying opportunities for growth and risk mitigation. Manage SG&A expenses within budget and support local retail operations with proactive collection strategies. Drive market‑share growth and retail‑volume targets through strategic promotion of finance solutions. Design and deliver hands‑on training for dealership staff to boost adoption of online‑quoting and credit platforms. Collaborate with capital‑market colleagues to ensure an excellent end‑to‑end customer experience. Experience Required Degree in Finance, Business or Agriculture is advantageous. Background in financial services with experience in financial analysis. Previous experience in a sales or relationship‑manager role. Solid understanding of the agricultural market. Highly autonomous and self‑motivated. Challenge‑driven and resilient with a focus on achieving success. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in MS Office.
