Job Description

Territory Manager, Orthopaedic – Auckland Smith & Nephew is seeking a Territory Manager to drive business growth within this region. The individual will maximize sales of orthopaedic products and brands through regular engagement with target customers. They will also be accountable for meeting budgeted revenue targets and ensuring compliance with company policies. Key Responsibilities Achieve annual portfolio sales targets within assigned territory. Manage sales territory while adhering to safety, compliance, and company protocols. Coach and support clinical support members for case support and training. Optimize profitability by appropriately using company assets, pricing, and product mix. Lead successful tenders and pricing agreements. Contribute to sales budget determination and strategic planning. Monitor market trends and respond promptly. Implement and report on sales and marketing initiatives. Execute territory management plans, consignment agreements, and special pricing. Foster teamwork, communication, and execution across the sales team. Build strong customer advocates for Smith & Nephew product portfolios. Consult Marketing and Regulatory Affairs on field promotional materials. Review sales data monthly to manage product performance and key accounts. Qualifications Tertiary qualifications in science or business related discipline. Experience in orthopaedic medical device technology. In‑depth knowledge of orthopaedic joint replacement products and ability to plan and execute complex primary and revision surgery.
