Senior Shepherd

Overview Integrated Foods Limited has exciting opportunities available for a Senior Shepherd and a Shepherd General to join our farming operation at Whatatutu, just 40 minutes from Gisborne. Working across approximately 6,000 hectares within our wider 8,250‑hectare farming business, you'll play an important role in supporting livestock production, pasture management, and the day‑to‑day success of a large‑scale East Coast farming operation. The Whatatutu block is a challenging and rewarding hill country property, running simple sheep and beef breeding systems at scale. Success in this environment requires strong stockmanship, practical farming skills, sound planning, and a commitment to getting the job done right. Horses remain an important part of the farming system, and applicants will need a capable team of working dogs to effectively manage stock across the property's varied terrain. Working closely with the Stock Manager and wider farm team, you will contribute to livestock performance, animal welfare, pasture utilisation, infrastructure maintenance, and continuous improvement initiatives that support the long‑term success of the business.
