Chef - TWOA (Te Rapa & Glenview), Hamilton

Full Time – 40 hours per week. Educational contract – 42 weeks per year. Are you a passionate Chef who enjoys creating fresh, nutritious food and delivering great café experiences? What you'll do: Prepare, cook, and present fresh, high-quality meals and café offerings Support the day-to-day operation of the campus café and student food services Plan and prepare food to meet menu, quality, and dietary requirements Transport food and supplies safely between TWOA Hamilton campuses Monitor food quality, portion control, and presentation standards Maintain a clean, safe, and well‑organised kitchen environment Ensure compliance with food safety, health and safety, and company procedures Assist with stock control, ordering, and minimising food wastage Deliver friendly, professional service to students, staff, and visitors Who you are: An experienced Chef with a passion for great food and customer service Hold a full, clean New Zealand driver licence Comfortable driving between sites to transport food and supplies Organised, reliable, and able to work independently A strong team player with a positive, can‑do attitude Confident working in a fast‑paced café and catering environment Knowledge of food safety and kitchen best practices Strong time management and attention to detail Friendly and approachable, with excellent communication skills How to apply: You must be legally entitled to work in New Zealand (NZ citizen, resident, or valid work visa).
