Are you an experienced Occupational Therapist looking to make a real impact on the lives of children and their whānau? We are seeking a Senior Occupational Therapist to join our Kidz First Child Development team, providing specialist clinical expertise and leadership in a collaborative, supportive environment. Responsibilities Deliver high-quality, evidence-based Occupational Therapy interventions for children with developmental difficulties or disabilities Work closely with families, taking a whānau-centered approach to therapy Manage complex cases with advanced clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills Provide mentorship and clinical leadership within the team Support service development and quality improvement initiatives Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to deliver holistic care Participate in ongoing professional development and research activities Accreditations for wheeled mobility, specialised equipment and housing modifications Qualifications Registered Occupational Therapist with a current Annual Practicing Certificate Minimum 5 years experience, working in paediatric Occupational Therapy or related settings Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills for managing complex cases Experience in clinical supervision, mentoring, and team leadership High standard of communication skills with colleagues and whānau Knowledge of best practices, service development, and interdisciplinary collaboration Commitment to equity, innovation, and delivering high-quality healthcare Benefits Working in an innovative multidisciplinary team with professional development opportunities Refund of your annual practising certificate cost Discounted services as part of our work perks We welcome applications from diverse Māori, Pacific, disabled, and rainbow communities and are committed to equity and inclusive practices.
