'08;️ About the opportunity Step into a permanent First Officer seat on the B737NG with a comprehensive type‑rating program provided. You’ll join a professional multi‑crew operation, flying modern procedures and contributing to a high‑performance, safety‑first culture. This is a fantastic pathway for capable jet or turbine pilots to transition onto a flagship narrow‑body fleet in New Zealand. What you’ll do Operate as First Officer on the B737NG, adhering to SOPs and company standards. Execute safe, efficient line operations under IFR in a multi‑crew environment. Apply strong TEM/CRM, contribute to briefings, and support a just culture. Maintain currency, proficiency, and regulatory compliance at all times. Uphold security standards and represent the airline professionally with customers and crew. What you’ll bring Professional airmanship with solid IFR and multi‑crew discipline. Decision‑making, situational awareness, and leadership in the right seat. Calm, collaborative communication and strong workload management. Commitment to safety, continuous learning, and operational excellence. Minimum requirements Total time: 1,500 hours Turbine time: 500 hours PIC time: 250 hours Flight time notes: EITHER 250 hours in Command of a powered fixed‑wing aeroplane OR 250 hours in Command of a powered fixed‑wing aeroplane (of which up to 180 hours may be ICUS), AND 500 hours as Co‑Pilot of a transport category aeroplane Endorsements for Instrument Approach 2D and 3D on a CASA Multi Engine Aeroplane Instrument Rating Licence required: Frozen ATPL, IR, ME (CASA or NZCAA) Medical: Class 1 ICAO ELP: Level 6 Type rating: Not required – training provided (NTR) Additional requirements Ability to hold an Aviation Security card: ASIC (Australia) and AvSec (NZ). Current passport with at least 12 months’ validity. The right to live and work in New Zealand without restriction or sponsorship. Non‑New Zealand or non‑Australian passport holders require a New Zealand Permanent Resident Visa. Training and development Successful candidates will complete a structured B737NG type rating and line training program, with ongoing recurrent training to maintain proficiency and support career progression.
