Job Description
Advisor Operations Support, Senior Courts Fixed Term until December 2027. Overview We are in search of an Advisor for the Senior, Employment, Environment and Coroners Courts (SEECC) Operations Support team. The team supports the delivery of front‑line services across SEECC, provides specialist advice within the Ministry and to the Courts, and contributes to implementing business improvements that enhance efficient, customer‑centric services. The team provides operational support for annual reporting and business planning, supports frontline employees day‑to‑day, and coordinates briefings and official correspondence, including Official Information Act requests, Parliamentary questions, and Briefings for Incoming Ministers. Skills and Experience Providing advice in a complex, customer‑centred organisation. Providing written reports and presentations to a high standard. Communicating with a wide range of audiences on complex issues. Operational experience in a medium or large organisation. Experience working in a high‑paced environment requiring influence and response to changing needs and priorities. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work independently and manage deadlines. Good at digital savviness, confident with technology, and willing to embrace new features. An understanding of the Ministry of Justice public‑sector context and the principles of the Treaty of Waitangi.
