The Blind and Low Vision Education Network NZ (BLENNZ) is a special character school that provides educational services to learners who are blind, deafblind or low vision throughout New Zealand. BLENNZ is committed to being a culturally responsive and Te Tiriti honouring school. We are seeking an experienced New Zealand registered teacher who will provide strategic, organisational and relationship leadership and management across BLENNZ in liaison with the principal, with a particular focus in the key area of Human Resource Management (HRM). The successful applicant will have: Qualifications and/or significant experience in Human Resource Management Proven leadership and effective management skills Knowledge of employment legislation, systems, processes and conflict resolution as applicable to a school setting Communication that involves active listening, clarity and is empathetic Relationship skills that foster partnering with staff, whanau and sector partners Qualifications in HRM are highly desirable.
