Appian Lead Developer

We are seeking an experienced Lead Technical Developer to architect and deliver complex Appian solutions. In this role, you will provide technical leadership and hands‑on development across Appian platforms, working closely with clients to gather requirements and translate them into robust technical solutions. You will lead the design, development, and testing of BPM applications, drive business systems integration, data migration, and information management initiatives, and oversee infrastructure design, security compliance, and risk assessments. Additionally, you will design and architect scalable Appian solutions, lead technical aspects of proposal development and client workshops, and contribute to internal knowledge sharing by building deep expertise in Appian. Proven experience with Appian is essential for this role. This role sits within our Information Services practice – one of four key areas at Tenzing, alongside Technology Services, Management Consulting, and Managed Services. The Information Services team partners with clients to deliver all things data, including data science, data warehousing, and data migrations. We use proven methodologies along with industry‑leading technology to create scalable and sustainable data solutions tailored to our customers’ needs. What We’re Looking For: 7+ years of hands‑on experience designing and delivering complex Appian solutions and must hold Appian certifications Strong understanding of product architecture and proven experience in cloud solutions Experience with integrations to other enterprise‑scale applications Proficiency in SQL, Java, or other relevant programming languages Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills Able to conduct technical workshops with senior stakeholders Strong ability to understand client needs, solve complex problems, and deliver practical, high‑quality solutions Experience with agile delivery model Why join Tenzing, who are we?
