A great team culture Flexible working options, including the ability to start or finish your day from home where appropriate Competitive remuneration, with Better Rewards perks when you go over KPI during each cycle Opportunities to work alongside experienced clinicians Regular collaboration with other disciplines Team dinners and social connection Great coffee to keep you fueled throughout the day Meaningful work supporting children, young people and their whānau A unique opportunity to work with one of Auckland's only Communication and Assistive Technology (CATA) contract holders As a Better Days Paediatric Speech and Language Therapist, your day could include: Working with children and young people across Auckland in home, community and clinic settings Travelling throughout Auckland to provide support directly within family homes and local communities Collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver coordinated care Completing assessments, therapy planning and intervention deliverySupporting communication, feeding, swallowing and participation-focused outcomes Contributing to equipment recommendations and implementation where appropriate Supporting children and families to develop and achieve meaningful rehabilitation goals Building strong relationships with children, whānau, caregivers, schools, medical teams and other key stakeholders About you You are a passionate Paediatric Speech and Language Therapist who is confident working with children, young people and their support networks. You will bring Experience working as a Paediatric Speech and Language Therapist Current dysphagia competency, with confidence managing paediatric feeding and swallowing needs within scope CAT1 experience Experience with AAC assessment, implementation and therapy Confidence with risk identification, documentation and MDT collaboration An understanding of the impact of injury on communication, swallowing, development, behaviour and participation Strong skills in assessment, goal setting, therapy planning, documentation and progress reporting The ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team Confidence working alongside families, schools, medical teams and allied health professionals Comfort working in home environments and travelling across Auckland Clear, compassionate communication with children, whānau and key stakeholders Preferred experience Experience supporting children with complex communication needs, neurological injury, developmental delay or disability Experience contributing to collaborative rehabilitation and intervention planning Commitment to Diversity At Better Days we embrace diversity, inclusivity and welcome applicants from all backgrounds, identities, and abilities including neurodiverse individuals. #J-18808-Ljbffr
