Vet Nurse

About the Role We have a vacancy for an experienced Vet Nurse to join our busy companion animal hospital based at our Levin clinic. Responsibilities Providing excellent standards of care for our patients and clients Assisting with consultations General nursing and clinic administration tasks Utilise technology and equipment management Assisting with anaesthesia surgical procedures Monitoring care of patients and follow up after surgery Qualifications A Veterinary Nurse Qualification with proven clinical skills An enthusiastic level of customer service Excellent written and oral communication skills The ability to show empathy and respond to customer and patient needs A passion for animal health and wellbeing Excellent team skills and the ability to relate well to both customers and colleagues Ability to adapt to a constantly changing environment while maintaining a friendly and enjoyable working atmosphere Have initiative and a pro‑active work ethic Benefits Long service benefits CPD allowance and opportunities Staff discounts on products and services Annual flu vaccinations Paid Volunteer Day Partner offers with Toyota, BNZ and PBTech Sonder employee care platform This role is working 30 hours per week with participation in the Saturday roster. #J-18808-Ljbffr
