Quantity Surveyor / Project Manager

Construction and Technical Recruitment (CTR) is working with a well‑established and respected construction contractor to appoint an experienced Quantity Surveyor / Project Manager to join their growing team in the Bay of Plenty. This is an 80/20 split that offers variety in day‑to‑day tasks, ideal for a commercially astute construction professional who can manage the full quantity surveying process while also taking ownership of project delivery responsibilities. The successful candidate will be able to hit the ground running, working closely with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and site teams across a range of commercial construction projects. Key Responsibilities Full pre‑contract and post‑contract quantity surveying duties Cost planning, estimating, procurement, and tender analysis Contract administration and management of subcontractor accounts Preparation and assessment of progress claims and variations Cost reporting, forecasting, and financial management of projects Project programming and coordination Client liaison and stakeholder management Supporting successful project delivery from inception through to completion About You Proven New Zealand construction experience is essential Strong understanding of local construction contracts and industry practices Experience delivering commercial construction projects Confident managing the full QS lifecycle with minimal supervision Comfortable taking on project management responsibilities and leading project outcomes Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills Excellent communication and relationship‑building abilities Self‑motivated, proactive, and solutions focused What’s On Offer Diverse and interesting project portfolio Established and supportive team environment Long‑term career development opportunities Competitive salary package Opportunity to play a key role in both the commercial and delivery aspects of projects #J-18808-Ljbffr
