Job Description

Auckland | Full-Time | Complex Infrastructure Projects Our client is an internationally operating organisation with a strong presence across multiple regions. They are looking for an experienced Connectivity Project Manager to join their team in Auckland, taking ownership of complex infrastructure deployment projects from inception through to completion. This is a role with genuine scope — you'll be working on technically demanding projects across international markets, with the support of a well‑resourced and established team behind you. What the role involves You’ll manage the full lifecycle of connectivity infrastructure projects — from technical design and procurement through to permitting, installation, and handover to operations. You’ll work closely with internal subject matter experts and external contractors, and represent the organisation with local authorities and clients across multiple jurisdictions. This is a hands‑on, autonomous role. You’ll need to be comfortable managing complexity, working across time zones, and keeping multiple stakeholders aligned without a lot of day‑to‑day direction. Key responsibilities Leading end‑to‑end delivery of connectivity infrastructure projects across international markets. Managing technical design, procurement, permitting, installation, and operational handover. Writing and managing tenders, RFQs and RFPs with construction and infrastructure partners. Securing permits and managing local authority relationships across jurisdictions. Budget management and reporting on project deliverables to senior leadership. Supporting the identification and development of third‑party connectivity solutions. Contributing to continuous improvement and knowledge‑sharing across the team. What we're looking for At least 10 years in the telecommunications or ICT industry, with hands‑on experience deploying large‑scale connectivity infrastructure. Strong project management capability across the full lifecycle — you’ve done this before and can evidence it. Experience managing procurement and working with contractors across international projects. Clear communicator — comfortable in client‑facing settings and producing written reports for senior stakeholders. Highly organised, results‑driven, and able to work autonomously to agreed objectives. Bilingual skills may be advantageous for this role. What’s in it for you Insurance Travel opportunities Good work/life balance Opportunities for professional development A supportive work environment Please note that this role is only open to New Zealand Permanent Residents or Citizens. Roles like this don’t come up often in New Zealand. If you have the background and you’re ready for a step up in scale, reach out for a confidential conversation. #J-18808-Ljbffr
