Minimum Educational Requirements Baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university. Has or able to obtain an Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) teacher certificate. Has or able to obtain CPR & First Aid training. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Effectively integrate biblical truths throughout academic teachings. Guide the learning process toward the achievement of established curriculum goals. Employ a variety of instructional and technological techniques and strategies to meet different aptitudes and interests of students. Prepare appropriately for classes and show written evidence of preparation, including lesson plans. Create a classroom environment conducive to learning; includes appropriate code of conduct policy. Monitor and assess academic progress; communicate with parents and administrators regarding the progress and potential of students. Maintain accurate, complete and up‑to‑date records including grades. Knowledge of and desire to use relevant and emerging technologies in the classroom. Coordinate and supervise class field trips.
