Direct Ship Representative

Supporting our Direct Ship function you will help to ensure the products we represent are getting to market and we are operating with excellence Support customers and suppliers to get the products they need! Monday to Friday 830-5pm with no weekend work 5 minutes off highbrook motorway exit with free parking onsite Direct Ship Representative In this role you will work within a team that supports our strategic growth, so we can deliver more for our customers. As a Direct Ship Representative, you are working with suppliers who are distributing product held at their site to our customers. The role is varied - from serving as a point of contact for supplier direct ship queries to receipting to resolving inventory queries and everything in between. If you are someone with a strong eye for detail, who understands how a supply chain operates, and prides yourself on how you support customers and suppliers to make things happen - then this role could be a great step for you! Your Key Responsibilities Are Deliver excellence in Direct Ship customer service and order-to-pay processes to drive customer retention and satisfaction Respond to internal queries accurately and promptly Serve as point of contact for supplier and internal queries on Direct Ship Resolve Direct Ship order cancellation requests, returns/repairs/warranty claims liaising with supplier where applicable Contribute to accurate and timely reporting requirements e.g., Budgets, forecasting, activity, and behaviours, that drive customer loyalty and satisfaction Resolves data issues on Supplier POs for Direct Ship products (mismatch invoice quantity or cost) Build strong, ethical relationships with key suppliers and customers and share their perspective What You Will Bring Tertiary qualification in Business, Sales Management, Supply Chain or equivalent, preferable A minimum of 2 years' proven success in sales and/or logistics roles would be helpful Understanding of Direct Ship /logistics process Demonstrated attention to detail Demonstrated experience in supplier, customer and contract negotiations Experienced in calculating Cost /Margin Demonstrated proficiency with MS Windows/MS Office Applications Worked within customer relationship management tool (CRM) Worked with Master Data tools Sustainability champion People and Culture Develop your skills with a personalized development plan Free parking onsite Great people!
