About the Role We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Clinical Pharmacist with a background in clinical pharmacy to join our Emergency Department team. In this role, you’ll provide comprehensive clinical pharmacy services, including assessment, intervention, advocacy, and consultation, all within a dynamic multidisciplinary team environment. You’ll be involved in medication reconciliation, patient education, service development, and the mentoring and supervision of early career pharmacists. Your strong communication skills and ability to build trusted relationships will be key to delivering excellent patient care and contributing meaningfully to the wider ED team. About the Service Te Whatu Ora Taranaki employs approximately 350 allied health professionals across its services, and we are growing our inpatient physical health rehabilitation team by 60%. You will be joining a friendly team that is diverse in skills and experience, welcomes collaboration and values each member’s contribution. Our team provides rehabilitation care across acute and non‑acute inpatient wards as part of Allied Health, and we support other teams to ensure their success. Qualifications Hold a valid and current NZ APC or be willing to obtain one. At least 3 years of previous experience in a hospital pharmacy. Excellent communication skills.
