Associate/Senior Electrical Engineer – Buildings We’re looking for an experienced Associate or Senior Electrical Engineer to join our Christchurch Building Services team. This role combines technical leadership with meaningful client engagement across a diverse project portfolio. Responsibilities Deliver practical, commercially sound electrical solutions across complex building services projects. Lead and contribute throughout the full project lifecycle, from concept and strategic planning to detailed design. Manage multiple projects simultaneously, coordinating resources and ensuring high‑quality delivery. Guide and review the work of other engineers, supporting strong technical outcomes and team development. Build trusted client relationships, understand needs and deliver tailored solutions that support long‑term partnerships and repeat work. Engage confidently with a wide range of stakeholders, advising and influencing at all organisational levels. About You Chartered Electrical Engineer with a strong track record in building services. Knowledgeable in the New Zealand Building Code and relevant standards, with strong technical capability in electrical building services design. Strong market insight across sectors such as Health, Education, Commercial, Defence, and Transport. Effective client leader who builds enduring relationships and turns opportunities into outcomes. Comfortable working with and influencing a wide range of stakeholders across all levels of an organisation.
