Job Description
We are a busy café located in Takapuna Auckland looking for a Cafe Supervisor/ Barista to join our friendly team. These are permanent positions offering between 30 to 40 hours per week at a pay rate of $25.00 to $35.00 per hour, depending on experience and skills. Key Responsibilities Supervise café staff to ensure high-quality customer service and adherence to company procedures. Coordinate staff rosters, manage shift changes, and ensure adequate staffing during service periods. Take customer orders, process payments, and provide service support during peak times. Ensure all food and beverage preparation areas comply with hygiene and safety regulations. Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering and stock rotation. Train new staff in café procedures, customer service standards, and safe food handling practices. Resolve customer complaints professionally and elevate issues when necessary. Ensure all café equipment is clean, well-maintained, and operated safely. Complete end-of-day cash reconciliations and assist with basic financial reporting as delegated. Prepare and serve coffee and beverages to a high standard. Deliver exceptional customer service and manage transactions efficiently. Uphold food safety and workplace health standards at all times.
