About the role Reporting to the Head of HSE, you will play a key support role within our Health, Safety and Environment team. This position is ideal for someone eager to learn and build experience, providing administrative and coordination support to help keep our safety and compliance processes running smoothly. This is a varied, hands‑on role where you will gain exposure to many aspects of HSE. You will assist with maintaining documentation and systems, tracking actions and audit outcomes, organising meetings and training sessions, and supporting reporting activities to help us meet our compliance requirements—full training will be provided. People are at the heart of what we do, and you’ll work closely with teams across the business to support a positive, safety‑first culture and ensure our standards are consistently met. About you As a CDMO within the Animal Health industry, our environment is unique and offers a great opportunity to learn and develop. We’re looking for someone eager to learn and grow, who enjoys keeping things organised and running smoothly. You’ll support our health and safety systems, help maintain accurate records, and play a part in building a positive, safety‑first culture—with full training and support provided along the way. Your experience and capabilities will include Support day‑to‑day Health & Safety admin tasks, including updating trackers and logs Keep documents up to date in EcoPortal and other systems Help track incidents, audits, and actions, and follow up to ensure they’re closed out Maintain records to support audits and compliance checks Organise meetings, prepare agendas, take notes, and follow up on actions Keep training records updated and monitor completion of required training Assist with reports and pull together data for HSE reporting Provide general admin support to the HSE team Support a positive safety culture and continuous improvement Your background, experience and attributes will include Previous experience in a Coordinator or Administration role would be advantageous, although not essential. A tertiary qualification in Occupational Health and Safety or a related field is desirable, but not essential. Experience maintaining records, managing documentation, and ensuring data integrity across multiple systems. Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications. Excellent attention to detail and a high standard of accuracy. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. The ability to work autonomously and take initiative. Effective interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships across all levels of the business. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. High energy, resilience, and a commitment to continuous improvement and company values.
