Job Description

Responsibilities Lead and support a high-performing fundraising team, fostering a positive, collaborative and accountable culture. Continue to drive and deliver the fundraising strategy and annual plan. Use data and insights to inform decisions, track performance and optimise fundraising activity. Oversee integrated fundraising campaigns, working closely with communications and marketing teams and external partners. Manage budgets, forecasts and reporting, ensuring targets are met and resources are well used. Continue to build strong relationships with donors, partners and suppliers, supporting innovative fundraising approaches and long-term engagement. Strengthen systems and processes, including oversight of the donor database and continuous improvement initiatives. Requirements Experience in a fundraising leadership or management role; leading and supporting teams to achieve results. Experience across multiple fundraising streams (e.g. direct marketing, partnerships, major donors) with proven track record delivering results and experience managing Individual Giving programmes at scale, specifically Regular Giving and Single Gifts. Strong experience developing and delivering successful fundraising strategies. Strong project management and organisational skills. Experience managing budgets, reporting and using data to inform decisions. Strong communication and relationship-building skills across a range of stakeholders. Existing knowledge of, or willingness to grow understanding of, te ao Māori and te reo Māori. Understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and its application.
