Job Specification This senior clinical role involves delivering advanced pharmacy services across medical, surgical, and maternity wards, with a strong focus on medication safety, governance, and quality improvement. You will: Participate in ward rounds and multidisciplinary team meetings. Conduct medication reconciliation, clinical reviews, counselling, and discharge planning. Provide expert medication management advice to medical, nursing, and allied health teams. Lead medication safety and quality initiatives. Mentor pharmacists, interns, and pharmacy students. Contribute to education, policy development, and service innovation. The department uses iPharmacy and is supported by two full-time pharmacists. Hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4:30pm. Skills Required General AHPRA registration as a Pharmacist. Extensive hospital pharmacy experience in Australia. Strong clinical knowledge across acute care settings. Experience in medication safety, governance, or quality improvement. Ability to lead, mentor, and influence multidisciplinary teams. Salary & Benefits $55-$62/hour plus superannuation.
