Health New Zealand - Te Whatu Ora - Taranaki – Taranaki About the Role We are inviting applications from enthusiastic subspecialists in Cardiology, Respiratory Medicine, Gastroenterology, or Rheumatology to join our team. The post includes a proportion of general/internal medicine acute ward work alongside a strong focus on your subspecialty practice, supporting comprehensive patient care within a collaborative department. The role covers a mix of ward inpatient, outpatient, and procedural work (specialty dependent) with a roster that allows variation across areas. For candidates with an interest, there is also the option to contribute to the Acute Assessment Unit (AAU), a new facility located in the soon to be opened east wing building, focusing on the assessment and treatment of medical patients with an expected hospital stay of less than 36 hours.
