Principal Functional Consultant - D365 CE and Power Platform

Key responsibilities Own the functional vision from pre-sales through delivery. Lead and facilitate key client workshops. Lead and facilitate functional design and decision-making forums. Lead and facilitate trade-off and prioritisation discussions. Translate complex business needs into coherent, scalable functional designs. Provide continuity and narrative across multi-phase, multi-team programmes. Guide, mentor, and delegate effectively to Senior and Intermediate Functionals. Act as the functional escalation and decision authority. Champion platform best practice and out-of-the-box first design principles. Work closely with architects, delivery leads, and technical leads to ensure cohesive outcomes. Key for success Proven experience leading large, complex Power Platform / D365 CE engagements. Strong BA foundation combined with deep functional expertise. Excellent communication and story-teller attributes; confidence with senior stakeholders. Comfortable operating at both strategic and detailed levels. Trusted advisor to clients and internal teams.
