Job Description
Overview As a Loss Prevention Manager at Allied Security, you will play a key role in ensuring the effective delivery of professional loss prevention services across our Auckland operations. This is a full-time position that will see you coordinating frontline loss prevention teams, supporting high-profile retail clients, and driving proactive strategies to reduce stock loss, prevent theft and protect client assets. Your leadership and expertise will be critical in developing strong relationships with store teams, supporting investigations, and ensuring we deliver a consistent, high-standard loss prevention service. What You’ll Be Doing Coordinating the deployment and performance of Loss Prevention Officers (LPOs) across multiple retail sites Supporting store teams and loss prevention staff in responding to theft, suspicious activity, and incidents of anti-social behaviour Assisting with investigations and preparing detailed, accurate reports for both clients and law enforcement Identifying trends and risks, recommending proactive measures to prevent shrinkage and loss Supporting the introduction of loss prevention technologies and techniques to enhance effectiveness Providing coaching, guidance, and training to develop the capability of onsite LPOs Building and maintaining strong, collaborative relationships with store management, external stakeholders, and Police Ensuring compliance with all relevant health, safety, and security protocols and standards What We’re Looking For Experience in people management, security coordination, or a similar leadership role Strong leadership, coaching, and communication skills to support and guide LPOs Proven problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying risks and preventing incidents Strong understanding of loss prevention techniques, security protocols, and industry best practice Excellent reporting, incident documentation, and record-keeping abilities Relevant security industry qualifications and a current Certificate of Approval (C.O.A.)
