Head Medical is seeking experienced Psychiatry Doctors to join a highly supportive Adult Mental Health service in beautiful Southland, New Zealand. The service includes: Adult Acute Inpatient Mental Health Unit (16–18 beds) Community Mental Health Team Southland Emergency Mental Health Team Child & Adolescent Mental Health Services Older Persons Mental Health / Psychogeriatric Services Depending on your experience and preference, you may work within Adult Inpatient Psychiatry or Community Psychiatry, supported by a welcoming and collaborative consultant‑led team. Who We Are Looking For Significant Adult Psychiatry experience Experience in inpatient and/or community psychiatry settings Confidence undertaking psychiatric assessments and treatment planning Strong MDT working skills Commitment to culturally safe, patient‑centred care Eligibility for Medical Council of New Zealand registration via the Competent Authority pathway Doctors currently working at: Registrar level SAS / Specialty Doctor / Associate Specialist level Consultant level without formal CCT are strongly encouraged to apply.
