Casual Pharmacist, Outpatient Haumanu Pharmacy

Overview Casual role – remuneration as per PSA Allied Health MECA guidelines (between step 1 $77,087 and step 7 $107,600). The Haumanu Pharmacy at Middlemore Hospital offers a state‑of‑the‑art retail pharmacy environment that incorporates robotics and automation, allowing pharmacists to work to the top of their scope and spend more time with patients. As part of a team of six (pharmacists, technicians, and the pharmacy manager) you will support dispensing, patient education, clinical services and over‑the‑counter and general retail services. Responsibilities Work in a dynamic retail pharmacy team to provide a range of clinical and retail services to patients, visitors, and staff of Middlemore Hospital. Assist with dispensing, offer patient education, deliver clinical services, and manage over‑the‑counter retail operations. Qualifications NZ registered pharmacist (newly registered pharmacists welcome – training provided) Current Annual Practising Certificate Ability to connect with customers and engage with a wide range of hospital services and staff Competent at providing community pharmacy clinical services such as TMP, ECP, vaccinations, clozapine, methadone, etc. Experience with retail pharmacy systems (training provided) Excellent communication, organisational and time‑management skills Ability to work flexible hours, including weekend shifts Full current driver’s licence Benefits Competitive remuneration commensurate with skills, plus support for ongoing education and career advancement.
