Te Mahi/ About the Position We are seeking permanent part-time support workers to join our Homecare team across the wider Canterbury region. This role involves supporting clients in outlying areas, including the Selwyn, Banks Peninsula, Waimakariri and Hurunui Districts, as service needs require. Working autonomously with a wide range of clients in the community Supporting clients with showering, dressing, mobility, prompting medication, compression hosiery application, housework, and meal preparation Liaising with colleagues regarding client care and wellbeing Using your personal vehicle to drive between scheduled visits Representing Nurse Maude in your professional presentation and approach to each client and their Whanau Hours of work: Operating Monday through Sunday, the successful permanent applicants will be offered between 20 - 40 guaranteed hours and agreed work times, inclusive of morning, evening, and weekend shifts. Having availability to work at least alternate weekends is preferred He momo/ About you To be successful in this position, you will: Be professional, honest, and reliable. Be friendly in your approach, passionate about working with people, and providing a high level of care for our clients. Be fit and able to achieve all tasks associated with the position, including bending, crouching, and long periods of time on your feet. Hold a full New Zealand driver licence and have your own reliable transport. Be legally entitled to work in New New Zealand.
