Our client is a global leader in advanced industrial machinery and automation technologies, supplying cutting-edge CNC and processing equipment to industries such as furniture, construction, automotive, aerospace, shipbuilding, plastics, and engineered materials. With world-class manufacturing centres and a reputation for technical excellence, they are now expanding their operations into New Zealand directly and are seeking a driven Territory Sales Manager to take ownership of the region. This is a key opportunity to join a market leader on an upward growth trajectory, backed by strong products, global support, and a highly regarded national team. Key Responsibilities: Manage and grow the NZ territory across a large portfolio of existing and new customers Conduct regular on-road customer visits, presentations, demonstrations and solution scoping Proactively identify new business opportunities across medium and large manufacturing customers Manage accounts across a database customers (with focus on top priority customers) Prepare proposals, pricing and product recommendations across the full machinery portfolio Collaborate with internal technical teams to deliver accurate and efficient solutions Attend training sessions, events and occasional interstate and European training trips Maintain strong pipeline reporting and activity management Represent the business professionally across NZ with autonomy and initiative About You: Experience selling CNC machinery or similar capital equipment (industrial machinery strongly preferred) Proven track record in BDM, territory management or technical sales roles Mechanically or technically minded and able to learn, explain and consult on complex equipment Highly autonomous, proactive and confident working independently Strong communication and customer engagement skills Based in Auckland OR Christchurch Willing to travel throughout NZ for customer visits and interstate for trade shows and training opportunities Why This Role: Join a truly global machinery leader with significant local growth plans Salary package includes maintained car, fuel and tolls, as well as annual bonuses and commissions.
