About the Role We have an exciting opportunity for a highly organised and proactive Personal Assistant to join our team in a key role within Te Whatu Ora Tairawhiti. This position provides a unique chance to work closely with senior leaders and contribute to the effective delivery of services that support improved health outcomes for our community.We are seeking a personal assistant to provide dedicated support to the Group Manager Te Ara Maioha (Mental Health and addiction services), together with additional support to the Chief Medical Officer (CMO).This is a busy and varied role where no two days are the same. Youll be right at the heart of things managing diaries, coordinating meetings, pulling together reports and presentations, and ensuring the smooth day to day running of the GMs office, while also providing responsive support to the CMO. Position Description PA to CMO and PA to GM Mental Health About the Team/Service/Location This role sits across two areas Corporate Services (Professional Leadership) and Te Ara Maioha Mental Health & Addiction Service.Based at Gisborne Hospital, youll be part of a supportive and collaborative environment, working alongside experienced leaders who are passionate about improving health outcomes in our community. About you Experience in a PA, EA or Senior admin role Confidence managing multiple priorities and busy schedules Strong skills across Microsoft office and admin systems Great communication skills and attention to detail The ability to use initiative and think ahead A calm, professional approach and strong sense of confidentiality The ability to build good working relationships with a wide range of people We welcome applications from our diverse Māori, Pacific, disabled, and rainbow communities.
