Job Description
The Role This is a position which requires you to set an example in the kitchen with your exemplary cooking skills, and maintaining the highest of standards. Responsibilities Completing ordering and stocktaking to plan and manage food costs Monitoring quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentation Discussing food preparation issues with managers, kitchen and waiting staff Demonstrating techniques and advising on cooking procedures Preparing and cooking food to a consistently high standard Understanding the food control plan and understanding the cleaning standards and processes within the kitchen Ensure all food is prepped and portion controlled prior to service to ensure no food prep is required to be completed during service Ensuring clear communication between the kitchen, front of house and head office This is a permanent full-time position of an average of at least 30 hours per week with a maximum of 60 hours per week.
