Job Description

Overview Are you passionate about cars and ready to leave school to begin a rewarding career? Women in Collision Repair is recruiting on behalf of one of Auckland's leading collision repair businesses for an exciting full-time Automotive Refinishing opportunity. Automotive Refinishing (Car Painting) is a highly skilled trade where you'll learn how to prepare, repair and refinish vehicles to the highest standards using the latest equipment, products and techniques. The successful candidate will transition into a nationally recognised apprenticeship through MITO, providing a structured pathway towards becoming a qualified Automotive Refinisher. We're looking for someone who is reliable, motivated and genuinely excited to build a career in the automotive industry. You don't need previous automotive experience—we're looking for attitude over experience. If you're a self-starter with a positive outlook, a willingness to learn and a genuine passion for cars, we'd love to hear from you. This employer is well known for investing in their people and providing a supportive environment with plenty of opportunities for ongoing learning and career progression. As your skills develop, you'll have exposure to different areas of the collision repair industry and opportunities to continue growing within the business. This is expected to be a highly sought-after opportunity. The employer has partnered with Women in Collision Repair to identify suitable candidates before advertising the position more broadly, so we encourage interested applicants to get in touch as soon as possible. Our process begins with an informal conversation about you, your interests and the collision repair industry. We'll then arrange to meet suitable candidates before introducing them to the employer. Requirements Ready to transition from school into full-time employment in the near future. A genuine passion for cars and a strong desire to learn. Reliable, positive and willing to work hard. At least a restricted driver's licence is essential. School holidays are just around the corner, but we're already beginning the recruitment process. If this sounds like the opportunity you've been waiting for, contact Women in Collision Repair today—we'd love to chat and help you take the first step towards an exciting career. #J-18808-Ljbffr
