Fixed term parental leave cover (12 months) What The Job Involves As the Aquatics Team Lead, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the aquatic environment, ensuring compliance, safety, and exceptional customer experiences. You'll provide leadership and guidance to the aquatics team, drive a positive team culture, and ensure lifeguarding standards are consistently maintained through the International Lifeguard Training Program (ILTP). This role requires a visible on-deck presence and active participation in lifeguarding duties, leading by example and supporting the team to deliver outstanding outcomes for our customers and community. This is a full time, fixed term (12 months) position covering a period of parental leave. Who are we looking for? You will be a confident and approachable leader with strong aquatic operations experience and a commitment to developing people. Ideally, You'll Have Previous experience in an aquatic operations, senior lifeguard, duty manager, or team leadership role. Current Pool Lifeguard Practising Certificate (or equivalent). Strong understanding of aquatic safety, supervision practices, and water quality management. Experience leading, coaching, and developing staff. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. A commitment to customer service excellence and continuous improvement. Current First Aid and CPR certification (or the ability to obtain and maintain).
