Job Description
Microbiology and Virology Registrar We are seeking dedicated Pathology Registrars to join our Microbiology and Virology training program within the Auckland Region. Responsibilities Complete rotations across Auckland City, Starship and Middlemore hospitals. Participate in protected off‑floor teaching and on‑floor feedback. Engage in Part1 and Part2 College exam preparation and departmental continuing medical education. Work with diverse patient demographics and a wide range of pathologies. Complete 6‑month rotation runs, with the option to rotate into subsequent runs. Eligibility and Requirements Second year House Officer (PGY‑2) or above. Demonstrated academic achievement and interest in pathology. Strong interpersonal and team‑working skills. Understanding of client‑focused service concepts. Eligibility for registration with the Medical Council of NewZealand.
