Technical Field Representative

About the Role An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Technical Field Representative to join our Gisborne team, providing technical and sales advice to existing clients while identifying and pursuing new business opportunities. You will work closely with the local store team, and the wider business, sharing knowledge and delivering technical and practical sales support. Key Responsibilities Identify client needs and provide sound, accurate product and farming advice Develop farm systems solutions aligned with client farming practices Communicate new technologies and technical knowledge to clients Be a trusted and accessible source of technical expertise, responding to client requests in line with PGG Wrightson’s service standards Support clients, colleagues and suppliers by answering queries and resolving issues Skills, Qualifications and Experience Extensive knowledge of the New Zealand rural sector (essential) Strong understanding of current arable, sheep and beef farming practices Proven ability to develop new business opportunities Excellent organisational and relationship-building skills Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills Good level of fitness (some physical work and lifting required) Full, current and clean New Zealand driver licence What We Offer We are committed to growing our people and developing leadership and technical capability at all levels.
