Job Description We are looking for a Sterilisation Assistant/Dental Assistant to join our team on a full-time basis! Are you detail-oriented, highly organised, and passionate about upholding the highest standards of infection control in a clinical setting? If so, we want to hear from you! In this vital role, you’ll help ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for both patients and staff. What You’ll be doing: Cleaning, sterilising, and maintaining dental instruments and equipment Accurately monitoring and recording sterilisation processes Assisting with infection control procedures across the clinic Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations Assisting with stock management Supporting clinical staff with room setups and patient turnaround Assisting the dentist chairside (training provided) Jumping in at reception as needed and supporting our front-desk team(training provided) This is a multi-trained position, meaning you’ll gain hands‑on experience across multiple areas—from clinical support to patient‑facing duties. A background in the medical field is a big plus! Working Hours for this role: Monday - Friday : 7:30am to 4:30pm Qualifications About You: You're a kind, hardworking team player who takes initiative and adapts easily. You don’t mind getting your hands dirty (literally!) and take pride in keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes. You’re known for your positive attitude, strong communication, and attention to detail. What We’re Looking For: Honest, hardworking, and reliable Ability to multitask and prioritise efficiently Self‑motivated and proactive Excellent verbal and written communication Comfortable handling used medical equipment—not for the faint of heart! Previous experience in a medical field is preferred due to the nature of the work Excellent communication, listening, and interpersonal skills. A positive and team‑orientated approach to all you do. Strong organisational skills and ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment. You’ll be working in a supportive, close‑knit team where your contribution truly matters. As the "glue" of the practice, your role is essential and appreciated.
