Room Attendant | Part-Time | Rydges Rotorua

Role Overview As a Room Attendant at Rydges Rotorua, you will join the wider Housekeeping Department, reporting directly to the Housekeeping Manager. This role is a fundamental part of hotel operations in a busy property, ensuring our guests enjoy a clean, comfortable, and welcoming stay. You will maintain guest rooms and public areas to the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation. Key Responsibilities Clean and prepare guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces. Replace linens, towels, and restock amenities to maintain room standards. Maintain cleanliness in public areas such as hallways and lobbies. Report maintenance issues and damaged items promptly. Handle lost and found items according to hotel policy. Respond to guest requests professionally and promptly. Qualifications Previous housekeeping experience in a hotel or similar environment preferred. Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced setting. Physical fitness to manage a physically demanding role. Reliable, punctual, and positive attitude with good communication skills. Must have valid work rights in New Zealand (We are unable to sponsor this role).
