Working closely with Supervisors, Technical Services and underground crews, you will contribute to the ongoing success of the operation while maintaining the highest standards of safety and operational performance. Key Responsibilities Operate jumbo drilling equipment in underground development environments Install ground support in accordance with site plans and ground control requirements Drill development headings to required specifications and profiles Support underground services installation and development activities Lead by example in maintaining safe work practices underground Communicate effectively with supervisors, crew members and cross‑shift teams Complete operational reporting and documentation requirements Participate in safety inspections, hazard management and continuous improvement initiatives Ensure compliance with all health, safety and environmental procedures Contribute to a positive, productive and safety‑focused team culture About You – Requirements Minimum 5 years’ experience operating jumbo equipment within underground mining environments Experience within development and production mining operations Proven experience in tunnelling, metalliferous or underground mining environments Jumbo Operator certification Current First Aid Certificate Full Manual Driver Licence Strong commitment to workplace health and safety Excellent communication and teamwork skills Desirable Class 2 and/or Class 4 Licence Wheels, Tracks and Rollers (WTR) endorsement Previous leadership or mentoring experience Experience working within high‑performing underground development teams Benefits Earn between $240,000 and $260,000 per annum depending on experience 7 days on / 7 days off roster supporting work‑life balance Overtime opportunities available Accommodation allowance provided Private health insurance Long‑term employment with a growing mining operation Opportunity to work alongside experienced mining professionals Genuine pathways into future leadership opportunities Strong safety culture and modern equipment Opportunity to establish yourself early within a growing organisation #J-18808-Ljbffr
