On‑site you’ll be working Monday to Friday initially and will gradually move into our shift pattern. The theory‑based work covering a variety of topics from cow to a customer will be spread across the duration of your apprenticeship so that it aligns with the practical work you’ll be involved in. What you’ll bring and develop You could have a love of food science or enjoy exploring the technical side of our processing equipment. Other key skills and experience include: Achieved or are in the process of attaining a minimum of NCEA Level 2 Maths Enjoys problem‑solving, a quick learner who adapts to change easily Confident with emerging technology and a strong mechanical aptitude A minimum learners driver’s license with eligibility to secure your restricted before you start Ability to use computer systems confidently Overall, it’s your positive attitude and your ambition that will set you apart!
